Jaclyn Shasha
Jaclyn Shasha, M.S., CCC-SLP is a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and the Founder of Virtual Speech Solutions, a therapist-owned practice providing speech therapy services and school staffing support throughout California. Based in Murrieta, CA, Jaclyn is passionate about delivering accessible, individualized speech therapy to clients of all ages across the lifespan, both in person and through teletherapy.

Jaclyn earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The College of St. Rose in Albany, New York, and brings over a decade of clinical experience across a wide range of settings, including private practice, school-based services, teletherapy, outpatient rehabilitation, and acute care. Her clinical expertise includes articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency disorders, motor speech disorders, social-pragmatic communication, adult dysphagia, and voice therapy for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

Recognizing the growing need for flexible, high-quality speech-language services, Jaclyn founded Virtual Speech Solutions to bridge the gap for schools and expand access to speech therapy within the community where she grew up. Her mission is rooted in supporting both educational systems and families by providing ethical, evidence-based care that meets clients where they are.

As a business owner, wife, and mother of two, Jaclyn understands the importance of flexibility, accessibility, and compassionate care. She is deeply committed to building meaningful relationships with families, schools, and community partners while ensuring every client receives personalized support to thrive.

Certifications
​Jaclyn is a SPEAK OUT!® Provider who has completed specialized training and is certified to offer both in person and online voice therapy for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. This evidence-based program focuses on improving speech clarity, vocal strength, and overall communication.

Claire Tynes
Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist

Claire is a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who serves as a supervising SLP for Virtual Speech Solutions. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Claire began her career in 2017 and has since made a remarkable impact in school-based settings across multiple states. Her strong leadership, organizational excellence, and commitment to clinical growth make her an invaluable mentor to the SLPAs she supervises.Claire brings warmth, kindness, and intentionality to every interaction. She has a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and appreciated—qualities that shine both in her professional and personal life. Her ability to build meaningful connections enhances her work and creates a supportive, empowering environment for our team. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Claire finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—taking long walks with her dog, lighting a favorite candle, getting lost in a good book, or planning her next travel adventure. Her love for exploring diverse cultures has broadened her worldview and deepened her ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds. We are incredibly lucky to have Claire as part of our team!!

Jessica Lautenschlager,
M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Jessica is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping individuals find their voice and communicate with confidence. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University, with a minor in Special Education, and is licensed in California with her ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
With experience supporting students from preschool through middle school, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge in assessments, individualized therapy, and collaboration with families and educators. She has worked in both in-person and teletherapy settings, always focusing on making therapy engaging, effective, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Jessica is excited to bring her expertise and warm, encouraging approach to the Virtual Speech Solutions team, helping clients reach their communication goals!

Stacey Gerena
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Stacey Gerena is a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with nearly a decade of expertise in supporting individuals with communication disorders. Her journey in this field has been fueled by a passion for helping others and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those she works with.
She is excited to be a part of Virtual Speech Solutions, where she can contribute her experience and enthusiasm to a dynamic and innovative environment. Stacey values her family, health, and career. She works hard to maintain a balance that allows her to thrive in all three aspects of her life. Outside of work, Stacey cherishes spending time with her family, whether they are enjoying the comfort of home, or relaxing by the beach. These moments of connection and relaxation are vital to Stacey, as they allow her to recharge and stay grounded in what truly matters most to her.
Jay Rooney
Finance and Billing Specialist

Jay Rooney is a finance professional with a strong background in financial management, billing operations, and executive leadership. Jay ensures that all billing, accounting, and regulatory compliance processes with our vendors are efficiently and accurately reported.
